In-house Work | Visual Directing
Overview
BRKTHRGH Conf. was a North American online conference held during the pandemic in 2021. As the design team lead, I directed the conference's visual identity, managed a team of five designers, and oversaw the production of all creative assets, including a conceptual short film that supported the event's message.
Design Brief
The short film was created to reflect the emotions many people experienced during the pandemic, including uncertainty, frustration, and isolation. As the story progressed, the visuals shifted toward themes of hope and renewal. Inspired by the concepts of shattering and prism-like light, the overall visual direction focused on the idea of breaking through hardship and moving forward with renewed purpose.
